In Zanzibar, clubs originally set up for young people to learn life skills are evolving into small businesses such as chicken farms. Last summer, some budding Zanzibari entrepreneurs learned business basics from SAIT School of Business students who travelled to the archipelago off the coast of Africa. They were among 216 SAIT students seeing the world from a new perspective, thanks to SAIT’s Study Abroad program. LINK explores just three study abroad trips — Zanzibar and two others — completed in 2017/18.
